Where is the harm? By Gill Moon

It’s just one thing I’ve cast away
there is no harm I hear you say?

But one and one makes two, then four
and very soon there’s so much more

And as the seasons hurry past
the debris grows, the dye is cast

Winter comes, whips up the sea
with a constant, pounding energy
that shatters all the summer calm
and leaves in its wake a sad alarm

A line of rubbish, mans disgrace
littering this wild place

The evidence is there to see
the excuse won’t wash so don’t tell me….

‘thereĀ is NO harm!’
